Our experience here was fantastic. We enjoyed the thoughtful staff and the location was handy. Lots of food, which was lovely to satisfy everyone. Service was excellent. Location next to cafes, town centre and the village.

Hotel is immaculately clean and popular, the location is ideal. It's well laid out with good sized beds and astonishing views. Besides, the venue is located 4 km away from Loughrigg Tarn Lake.

The breakfast was abundant and the staff were ready to help. Deluxe king room was heated, the beds were comfortable. The staff created a friendly atmosphere. I loved Italian cuisine served here. Fantastic views and quiet garden.

Tidy, very comfy bed, absolutely perfect location. The staff was exceptional, they showed us what flawless service is supposed to be like. We got room with stylish decor and a spacious bathroom to relax. Friendly reception.

It deserves its 4 stars. We enjoyed to be at Rothay Manor and its staff and food. Besides, free parking was convenient for us. There is cafe Costa Coffee, set 300 metres walk away.

it was a modern hotel, we greatly enjoyed it. booked classic double room, that included a heating system, a flat-screen tv with satellite channels and a writing table. the breakfast food was brilliant. if we return to ambleside we would happily return.
